Relief Work

During a critical crisis, we actively engage with the affected communities to provide them with relief aid. We focus on strengthening them by meeting their basic and essential needs with food, medical care and other necessities.

We served the communities across West Bengal, during the pandemic and after the cyclones Bulbul, Amphan and Yaas.

Medical Camps

We treated affected communities across the Sundarbans after cyclones Bulbul, Amphan, and Yaas. We provided free treatment of patients with medical consultation and medicines. Our teams travelled to different villages on different days.

Food and Essentials Relief Program

We conducted food relief programs during the COVID-19 pandemic and cyclone Amphan. We distributed emergency food and essentials relief. Items distributed included an assortment of items such as rice, pulses, soya bean nuggets, oil, salt and spices, keeping the staple diet of the communities in mind.

Food for Work Program

After cyclones Amphan and Yaas, we engaged able-bodied residents of affected communities in various repair and community development work and for their active participation, they were provided with food kits. This helped to motivate them, relatively restore their mental health and ensured they received their food materials with dignity.

Medicine Kit Distribution

Medicine kit distribution Medicine kits were distributed among mildly affected COVID-19 patients from low-income who remained in home isolation. The medicine kits included various common medicines.

Vaccination Drive

Vaccination drives were conducted at some of our primary healthcare centres during the COVID-19 pandemic. Patients were provided with one dose of vaccination.

Project Breathe

We provided oxygen concentrators to COVID-19 patients in home isolation during the second wave. With US and other Bengal based nonprofits, we ensured quick provision of the devices to those in need. We picked the devices up from their doorstep, sanitised them and delivered it to the next person in need.
