Minati

Minati, a 73-year-old from Sekendar Chak, Bankura, has faced unimaginable daily hardships throughout her life. Despite struggling with joint pain, fever, and weakness, she never complained and always prioritized the needs of others. Eventually, a neighbour noticed her difficulty walking and encouraged her to seek medical attention. After much persuasion, Minati visited our healthcare centre where doctors diagnosed her with arthritis and fever, prescribed medication and advised rest. Following their advice, Minati’s joint pain subsided, and she regained strength and energy. Her experience is a testament to the transformative power of healthcare and the importance of seeking medical attention. It highlights the resilience and determination of the human spirit and the impact of community support. Minati’s story inspires hope and pride, encouraging us to continue working for our cause.

Nazrul

Nazrul, a 66-year-old tailor from Rasulpur, West Bengal had spent most of his life working hard to make ends meet, but his health had been deteriorating for years. At the age of 65, he was diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes, and chronic joint pain. Nazrul’s village lacked adequate healthcare facilities, and he could not afford expensive treatment in the city. That's when he heard about our healthcare centre and decided to visit us. Our doctors provided him with the necessary medication and counselling to help manage his medical conditions and also recommended exercises to help alleviate his joint pain. Gradually, Nazrul’s health began to improve, and he regained his strength and energy. He was able to return to his work with renewed vigour. Nazrul’s story is a reminder of the immense impact that accessible and affordable healthcare can have on people's lives.
